A Saluzzo la festa d’autunno delle genti occitane e l’incontro con la ricerca firmata “Matera 2019”

 

Se c’è una festa che ha caratterizzato la rinascita musicale delle valli occitane, accompagnandola negli ultimi anni, è proprio questa: l’Uvernada. Nata come gemellaggio con l’Estivada di Rodez, l’Uvernada ha visto, in questi 8 anni, alternarsi i principali gruppi della musica occitana e tutta una serie di formazioni “contigue”, sempre davanti a un pubblico variegato, cresciuto e consolidatosi nel tempo. Talvera e Lou Seriol a Castanha e Vinòvel, passando per Modena City Ramblers, Africa Unite, Dubioza Kolektiv e una miriade di altri gruppi, i suoni più disparati hanno celebrato il rito di un incontro che vede nello spirito più vero e antico della cultura d’òc, fatto di inclusione e scambio, la propria ragione di essere.

L’edizione di quest’anno narra l’incontro tra culture e scopre la ricerca musicale. Matera, Capitale Europea della Cultura 2019, arriva a Saluzzo. Da un progetto nato in collaborazione con Fondazione Matera-Basilicata 2019, Onyx Jazz Club di Matera e Scuola Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo, un grande concerto che vede le sue origini nei suoni di un luogo, Matera appunto, mixati, combinati e masterizzati, soprattutto, campionati da un grande artista statunitense. Un concerto innovativo, unico, un’orchestra che attraverso la musica racconta un territorio e una tradizione. Per l’occasione i suoni di Matera saranno mescolati e miscelati a quelli saluzzesi per raccontare davvero l’incontro tra culture e realtà lontane tra loro. Quindi, sabato, sul palco la musica occitana e in sala protagonisti i balarin.

Ore 21.30 – si aprono le danze! Via con Lou Tapage ed il loro nuovo disco – alla cui produzione ha partecipato Occit’amo – BUONE NUOVE: canzone d’autore, musica popolare e rock si mescolano per tornare a parlare della montagna, ma in un nuovo modo.
Ore 23.00 – Salgono sul palco Lou Dalfin, più di 1400 concerti dal 1991, anima e corpo di Uvernada e della musica occitana, alfieri della tradizione. Dopo la grande festa di settembre in Valle, a Demonte, a ottobre ritorna a Saluzzo un incontro delle genti occitane, una festa per salutare una bellissima estate in musica, l’estate di Occit’amo, passata tra rifugi, tramonti, albe, chiese e boschi, fiaccole e stage.

Come da tradizione, al mattino, per le vie di Saluzzo, Jean Paul Faruat (fifres) e un manipolo di tamburi porteranno la musica della tradizione per la strada, mentre al pomeriggio Daniela Mandrile sarà protagonista con uno stage di danze negli spazi della Ex Caserma Musso.

Il Pala CRS sarà poi anche il luogo dove assaporare sapori del territorio (Vini del Consorzio, birre artigianali e liquori delle vallate) o curiosare il piccolo artigianato di territorio.

Qual è il suono di una città, com’ è la sua melodia? Ogni luogo ha un sound che lo rappresenta e che è composto dai suoni naturali, da quelli prodotti dalle sue comunità, dai luoghi tipici, da quelli che si trasformano nel tempo.
Suoni del Futuro Remoto, progetto di Onyx Jazz Club co prodotto da Fondazione Matera-Basilicata 2019 nasce per raccontare in modo diverso, attraverso questa caratteristica, una città unica e millenaria come Matera. Il progetto, iniziato nel 2018, si è sviluppato attraverso una serie di “collaudi sonori” di luoghi acusticamente interessanti della città. Performances dal vivo di musicisti e artisti hanno sperimentato le particolari sonorità per raccontare un inedito itinerario sonoro. Il compito più importante, quello di registrare i suoni, è stato affidato agli studenti della Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università di Basilicata, i ragazzi di UniBanda che hanno lavorato con i loro colleghi dell’Università di Hannover e con gli esperti della Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento musicale di Saluzzo. Dai suoni naturali della Gravina a quelli delle Festa patronale passando attraverso i suoni delle piazze, dei vicoli, delle botteghe artigiane, tutto si è trasformato in note musicali.
Il materiale è arrivato nelle mani di un abile musicista statunitense, Joe Johnson che insieme al Collettivo Onyx ha dato vita a una vera e propria partitura orchestrale che verrà eseguita in prima mondiale il 26 settembre a Matera in un concerto al quale parteciperà come ospite d’onore il trombettista Paolo Fresu.
A Saluzzo i suoni di Matera si mescoleranno con quelli di Saluzzo per un vero incontro e scambio tra le due realtà.
